It seemed only yesterday when this bridal fair started in 2003 at The Loft@Rockwell with only a very exclusive set of supplier-friends who aimed to promote their products and services in a very relaxed, cozy set up, so unlike most bridal fairs with all its hustles and bustles.
Ms. Katrina Ponce Enrile, representing Splendido Taal Golf Club Corporation, was given the honor to cut the ribbon during the event's simple opening ceremony rites. Go!!! Bridal Fair continues to live up to its title of being "The Coziest Bridal Fair Ever!" with its comfy set up convenient for suppliers and probable clients to interact.
Clients who made reservations and deposits during the fair did not just get the freebies and other privileges only offered by suppliers during the fair but also some perks from the organizers, sponsors and donors. Loads of products from Scents and Blends Fragrance Bar and CDs of Diva Kuh Ledesma were raffled hourly.
Wedding singer and event host Paulo Clemente gave free vocal sampler cds in mp3 form to all the visitors and gave special gift packages for winners of his fun surveys such as "Top 5 Songs You Want to Hear on Your Wedding Day" and "What's Your 5 Top Favorite Songs by Paulo Clemente".The biggest event perk is the three-day, two-night stay at Pearl of the Pacific Boracay (http://www.pearlofthepacific.com/) for two inclusive of plane tickets courtesy of Angel's Wink Event's & Planners (http://www.angelswink.biz/) won by John Paul Vergara who booked photographer Robert Lester Digital Profile (http://www.robert-lester.com/) on the spot during the fair. John Paul marries Marian Lesley Fernandez at National Shrine of Sacred Heart in Makati City on December 19, 2007.
Grand raffle winner were soon-to-weds John Paul Vergara and Marian Lesley Fernandez in photo receiving the Vacation and Prenup Photo Session certificates from Paulo Clemente plus a gift package from Scents and Blends Fragrance Bar.
As part of the event promotion, Angel's Wink Events & Planners cooked up a "literary contest" entitled "My (Funny) Love Affair Story Writing Contest exclusively for Soon-to-Weds. There was an overwhleming number of entries for its third edition this year but the stars in the sky favored Kristian Bautista with his "Funk Phenomenon" .
